The salt water-- it dries my skin
And it burns my throat.
And it burns my eyes, too.
My arms are tired, I don't want to kick.
I don't want to kick anymore.
I think I'll turn myself over.
Turn myself over and try to float.
And when I look back, back at the shore.
I find, you look smaller than before.
And you're waving.
When I get nervous, I stop and think:
"Everyone loves you.
Everyone here loves you and wants you
to do well today--and for all of your life.
They understand you, would share with you,
would help you along,
would wait for you"
When I go in, into the sound
From there, vibrate out
And it's easy
